The great Panthéon was built, in 1790 AD, is located in the French capital's Latin Quarter, which includes the remains of some of the greats of France, including prominent writers, scientists, generals, and the clergy and politicians such as Voltaire and Alexandre Dumas and Victor Hugo, and others.
 
Pantheon overlooking to the entire of Paris, The designer of the cemetery is Jacques Germain and he had the intention of combining the lightness and brightness of the gothic cathedral with classical principles, and the Pantheon  is considered one of the greatest architectural achievements in that period, and it is organized several tours to the cemetery to explain the history of the building, also to review the history of the characters that were buried by a specialist guide or guided tour.
 
King Louis XV vowed in 1744 that if he recovered from his illness will replace the ruined church in the monastery of St. Genevieve with a great structure worthy of Paris, and he has been recovered from his illness, and he entrusted  Francois Marquis de Marigny to fulfill his vow. In 1754, Jacques Germain  was commissioned to design the church, with construction beginning after two years.

Also it contains the remains of Marie Curie, it is the only woman buried in the Pantheon, and there are also Gaspar mung ,Marsilan Berthelot and Joseph-Louis, Count of Lagrange and others
